Methodology

The O’STAD Incubator has evolved over the past years through hands-on execution, participant feedback, and performance data. What began as a strong foundation in 2024 has been refined into a structured program that reflects what works in practice within Aruba’s entrepreneurial landscape.

In 2026, a more defined incubator structure is introduced to strengthen each stage of the journey from preparation to launch and long-term growth. This updated approach places greater focus on readiness, market validation, and scalability, with the clear aim of increasing access to funding and investment opportunities.

Developed in collaboration with the University of Aruba and the Aruba Chamber of Commerce, the program brings together academic insight, market understanding, and real business experience. Participants follow a clear pathway that covers validation, business modeling, financial strategy, marketing, pitching, and growth planning.

Each participant is matched with a dedicated business mentor who provides tailored guidance throughout the program. The top five ventures will continue with extended support, receiving one year of coaching and strategic guidance from Impact Hub Aruba to support their next phase of growth.

This module focuses on developing the entrepreneurial mindset. Participants will explore what it means to think like an entrepreneur, identify opportunities, take calculated risks, and build resilience. The training sets the foundation for turning ideas into action with confidence and purpose.

Refining Business Idea

In this module, participants refine their ideas through guided ideation sessions. They will learn how to shape, test, and strengthen their concepts to ensure clarity, relevance, and market potential.

This module equips participants with the essential legal and financial knowledge to build a solid foundation for their business. Topics include business registration, compliance, contracts, budgeting, pricing, revenue models, and financial planning to ensure ventures are both sustainable and protected.

Business Planning & Operations

This module guides participants in structuring their business for long-term success. They will learn how to create actionable business plans, set clear goals, and design effective operations to support growth and sustainability.

Brand Building, Marketing & Sales

This module helps participants define their brand identity, understand their target market, and craft strategies to attract and retain customers. Training covers marketing tools, storytelling, and sales techniques to drive business growth.

Pitch

In this module, participants receive hands-on guidance to craft and deliver a powerful pitch. They will learn how to present their idea clearly, highlight their business potential, and confidently engage an audience of peers, partners, and investors. This is in preparation for the final Demo Day.
